The Mirowsko-Bobolicka Ridge
The rocky hill range joining the castles of Mirów and Bobolice, called the Mirowsko-Bobolicka Ridge, is full of majestic monadnocks and mysterious caves. It is also the place where the first remains of the Neanderthal man (called Bobolus Jurajski) where discovered, in a cave called Stable.
Many of the local caves have their own, sometimes very fancy, names: The Kukuczka Peak, Three Sisters, Violin, Keyboard, Mushroom, Wardrobe or Zigzag. The Mirowsko-Bobolicka Ridge in not only a Mecca for rock climbers. Each season we can meet fans of horse riding, cyclists or Nordic walking lovers. In the winter, the Mirowsko-Bobolicka Ridge becomes a fantastic route for cross-country skiers who will find varied areas and beautiful views here.
